"II Micah: Chapter 1" Release!!!

So... I'm taking to my blog for some exciting news. I will be releasing my 2nd mixtape "II Micah: Chapter 1" this month! Just in time for Christmas, eh? A perfect little stocking stuffer.

What's even better is that I'll be releasing it in two different ways. There will be a free, online version (we'll call it the 'regular' version) and then there will be the 'Deluxe Version', which will include a real, hard copy of the CD, autographed and also, a free download link for extras including my first music video "Heart Talk", a live video of the song I did with my fellow Real Men Real Talk (RMRT) members "Don't Waste Your Life" [a Lecrae song remixed by us], and also some songs from RMRT's upcoming mixtape release! How cool is that?! That's a lot of stuff. I will be releasing the tracklist for 2MC1 soon, and just for the people who want to reserve a copy of the first 100 CD's, there will be a pre-ordering option. I will place the button below for that. The Deluxe Version of the CD will cost $5 (simply for packaging and shipping costs, the music is free!), I just know that I got a lot of demand for CD's on "Open Mic" so I figured I'd give the people what the people really want. God bless y'all lol.

I would like to say that I feel accomplished and grateful to be able to finish my 2nd project and have been blown away at what God has done in the process. I've worked with some awesome artists who love the Lord and are great at what they do. People like P. Lo Jetson, Brotha Lee, K-Zoe (along with the rest of RMRT), Dizz, Empty Vessel and even my own big brother (who is an inspiration and without him, I would not even be ministering), Theo Schaffer. I think that this project is simply amazing and I know God will bless souls and hearts through it.

As previously stated, this is the button to pre-order the CD. It is safe and secure, I am not scamming anyone lol. Though, if you would like to donate to the ministry that God has given me, feel free to do so. All I ask is that you either: 1. In the instructions part (if there is such a space to enter such information), enter the address you would like the CD(s) to be mailed to. I will be sending them out as soon as I receive them so you do not have to wait. OR 2. Send an email to MrSchaffer0468@gmail.com stating the address you would like to have the CD(s) sent to, and any special note with the autograph. I've practiced my autograph since I was like 13... It looks good. So... That is all. I appreciate everyone for your continued support. Please keep me and my family and friends in prayer that we continue to fulfill the will God has for us.

Why I Don't #1: Drink/Smoke/Do Drugs

This is the first post in a series of posts entitled "Why I Don't". In these blog posts, I'll simply be sharing with you guys why I don't do certain things (Drink, smoke, do drugs, curse, go to clubs, have 10 million girls, etc.). I really just wanna shed some light on these things and why they are bad. And by bad, I mean detrimental to a Christian's immune system and relationship with God. A lot of people believe in the "once saved, always saved" system, when there is none. There is a such thing as being backslidden and having a reprobate mind. There is also no such thing as straddling a "fence". That makes no sense. Jesus said that you cannot serve two masters, you love one and hate the other. So, basically it's like this: Which one do you love, and which one do you hate? Having the best of both worlds is not an option. Also, I would like to say that I do not want anyone to think of me as judging them if they do these things. I call apples apples, and oranges oranges. I call it like it is. If I do any of this, then I'm guilty too.

In this first post, I'll cover drinking, smoking and doing drugs. I'm 23, and 99% of all my friends are in the same age group, so I see what people my age are doing, and sadly, most of them either drink, smoke, or do drugs. The worse part of the story is that most of them think that they are okay! The most common misconception is that it is okay to drink. Well, I won't call it a misconception because in certain cases like drinking wine is actually not bad. And this is a little iffy. I've talked to people and of course they're like "Well, I don't drink to get drunk..." And then the next day, you'll see pictures of them on Facebook on top of a table at a bar with the margarita glass half full (of half empty for you pessimists). Either way it goes, God wants us to be sober and think as such. ALL THE TIME. Of course there are instances in which people got "merry" at parties, and yes, Jesus did turn water into wine... But how much is too much? It is quite a fine line, and that gives one reason for why I do not consume alcohol. I mean, I might drink too much, who knows? So to avoid that situation, I just stay away from it. Plus, with the health problems that can come along with alcohol consumption, and things that can happen while one is intoxicated, I think that NOT drinking is safer than drinking. I know a few people who believe that their body belongs to them, when in actually, they belong to God. So, I say this even when I talk about tattoos and smoking, if it doesn't belong to you, then why deface it? Our bodies are designed so immaculately, and me personally, I'd really hate to destroy this beautiful thing that God has made and let me live through.

Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Romans 13:13-14

Last thing I'll say about drinking in this post (I think), when you drink (if you drink), why are you drinking? Is it to get your party on? Is it to calm your nerves? Is it to be sociable? Think about it... There are other solutions for any problem that you have. Alcohol doesn't have to be the answer.

In the drugs area, it works the same way. God wants us to be sober. Drugs are worse because for most people, it affects more negatively than alcohol. I've never seen people that just want to be high all the time. Smoke weed, do cocaine, whatever. And they do it for a lot of different reasons as well. But like I said, it all comes back to sobriety. God wants His children with a sound mind, not one that cannot think clearly. This is a trick of the enemy, and a way that he uses to control the minds of ones under his influence. One thing that comes to mind, and it is very important, is how Aleister Crowley wrote "The Book of the Law". Crowley (basically a Satanist and Freemason) wrote this whole book under the influence of drugs and demonic spirits. He channeled spirits and while he was in a trance, he wrote. And "The Book of the Law" was the final product. Weird, huh? There is a part in the book, where it says something to the nature of "take strange drugs and drinks". Now think about how hard it is for a person to quit drinking alcohol and using drugs... There is an addictive spirit in them! If you use drugs or drink, you don't have to... God is able to provide anything that you lack in your life with His love. I used to smoke. I used to drink. But God brought me out, and He can bring you out too.

Following Your Heart is the Worst Decision You'll Ever Make.

Hello world.

I should start back posting in this pretty often, as I keep coming across very valuable information that I should share with everyone I can. So, I hope I get more and followers of this blog.

This time around, I want to discuss the topic of following your heart. I won't beat around the bush at all when I say that even though it is one of the most influential sounding phrases, it is the worst decision you can make. First and foremost, scripture tells us that our hearts are deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked... (Jeremiah 17:9) In Matthew 15:19 names all of the evil things that can proceed out of our hearts. Now, true enough, God can change our minds, but the sinful nature we were born with is never cut out of our flesh.

A message we have heard from birth is to follow your heart and all of your dreams will come true... But is this God's will? If I do recall correctly, we should put all of our trust in the Lord (Proverbs 3:5). Scripture also tells us not to trust in man (Jeremiah 17:5-8)! Aren't we men? Yups. It is when we fall into this trust in ourselves that we basically condemn ourselves and throw God out of the picture.

Sadly enough, this is one of the main doctrines of occultists and Satanists alike. Ask any open Satan worshipper what Satan worship is about, and they will more than likely reply "self worship." Wow. Well-known occultist Aleister Crowley, in his book "The Book of the Law", stated "Do what thou wilt, this shall be the whole of the law." Simply put, do what you want, this sums up the law. ANOTHER WOW. Doesn't this sound like self worship, and even like trusting in yourself? Yups. Our society has embraced this belief, and it has spread in movies, cartoons, and most of all music. I just did a lyric search of "do what you want." More than 12,000 songs came up... And think about this, that logic could occur in any song, in any variation. I think that this is the main reason why the world is like it is. We've kicked God out of our lives, and started saying it's our lives and we do what we want, and then when the appropriate results come back, we get mad at God like He did it... Something God has been speaking to me about is consulting Him on decisions. I need to do that a lot more... And not trust in myself. I guess that's all I have for now. Until next time... God bless all y'all (country).

Life Changing Information

Given certain recent occurrences, I think that one would be led to believe that there is a big change about to take place on Earth. With all of the facts and statistics laid out, I'm sure every Christian could tell you what is about to happen. There have been wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes in diverse places, the world slowly accepting a single religion, and also a single government. Over the past couple of years, I have been quietly doing a lot of research about some things that God has shown me. To my knowledge, noone else I know is as interested in what I have studied, and 99% of people I know don't even know what's going on.

It all started with a video I watched in church that scared the crap out of me. And it only scared me so much, because it was true what I had watched. It was video in a series of videos titled "The Truth About Hip-Hop" by G. Craig Lewis. Watching them opened my eyes to what Hip-Hop truly is, how it was formed, and what it does to the youth and even older people in these times. I probably have just caused a stir with some already. And for those who know me, and what I do, let me answer the question that is probably lingering in your mind.

-"But you're a Christian rapper... Is not what you do, Hip-Hop?"

-No. It is not. My music is the opposite, using the same ART FORM, I incorporate godly lyrics and a godly message in my songs. Hip-Hop glorifies the world, I glorify the God who made it.

Now, from my studies on Hip-Hop and it's artists, I got into studying other forms of music that are not of God, and learned more how Satan has a plan to corrupt the minds of the masses using different mediums to do so. These include television, movies, music and any other way that he can find a doorway into your mind.

Just recently, I have discovered tons of information through (legit) websites, videos, and searching scriptures also that prophecy that these things will happen. And they have. And it is crazy. This information has exposed the devil's plans to overthrow God's kingdom using his tools, whether it be via pop culture or even through government. I can't tell you what I have learned, because I am at work and that would take forever, but check out these sites for more information and do your own research and open your eyes. The time is here.

There Can Only Be [ONE.]

You know, something I thought of a long time ago really stuck with me. The entire original thought... Why are there so many different beliefs in Christianity? Since our God is one, He always gave out a singular instruction or direction, with no substitues, why would He allow so many different beliefs? And the answer is one that may shock some people and even offend some. He doesn't. There has always been one. There will only be one in the end. Our PERFECT God has always had a set up. It always went properly. It has always been in order. He has an order to His will, but over time, in man's selfishness and arrogant ways, we have molded Christianity into what we want it to be. To appease our flesh and make it suitable for others. This has never been an intent of God. We submit to Him, the maker, we are not makers ourselves. I've seen so many people's lives and thought to myself "Their way is too easy." I know you might think... "TOO EASY?! What?!" Yes. Too easy. It seems that they have skipped over the part in the Bible where we no longer have to abide in sin because Jesus made it possible to live in Him now. But back to the "one" thing. And I'll shrink this blog to the topic of salvation in Christian churches. God spoke to me a long time ago, and showed me that all of these different beliefs are not in His will. Why would God instruct one party to be saved a certain way and then another party a different way. God is not the author of confusion. An individual may find the road to salvation different than another, but the road is still the same. There is only one road to Christ, but there are highways, interstates, bypasses, shortcuts, dirt roads, etc. to hell. Hopefully, I can provoke you to think with this.

I was raised in a good 'ole southern Baptist church and was always taught about God, but never had an experience of my own. My father does not know God, but he raised me to think. Since I've been mature, I've never ventured off into something without knowing what it was about. That is definitely true when I decided to be saved. All my life I had the impression that I was 'okay' because I went to church and what-not. Again, when I became mature, I finally thought to myself. How in the world am I okay with God and I've had no change or anything close. I hadn't. My brother tried the whole Sinner's Prayer thing. That never worked for him. I've heard of my friends confessing Jesus Christ as their savior. They lived the same way as I did, so obviously that didn't work for them either. There had to be something real out there. And there was. I just didn't know it yet. I had always seen this guy, Joe that I knew from pre-school. He always wore pants and looked really geeky to me. I remember walking with my best friend Fu, and we passed by Joe. I asked Fu "What's wrong with him?" Like, why did he look that way? Fu said "Oh, he's Pentecostal..." I didn't know what that meant, so I just said okay and let that be that. And let me pause for a moment. This blog isn't about a particular faith's 'name', it's about the truth of God. My point from that story is that I had caught a glimpse of someone actually being different. That let me know that there was a way to live right, and I didn't have to live a lie or live like a hypocrite.

So anyway, like I said, I'd heard it all by my teenage years. Sinner's Prayer, confessing Jesus as your savior, accepting Him into your life, being baptized to show you're a Christian, speaking in tongues, and the one I never could understand... God won't send you to hell if you're just a good person. Keep in mind that I'm exploring all these different ways in my head over time until I come to the conclusion (from reading and studying and praying and asking God for understanding...) that I had found the one true doctrine for salvation of God. And it wasn't that hard. All anyone has to do is read the New Testament in order. ----->> Here is a revelation, I hope you catch it.>>> 1. The order of the books of the bible are like a timeline. The next book comes after the previous in years, according to a time frame. 2. The book's names say a LOT. 3. If you read the stories, you'll clearly see how the New Testament church was founded and the formula they used for salvation.

Keep in mind, that there is only ONE. The 4 gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John tell the story of Jesus' life from 4 different perspectives, each from each writer. They tell how Jesus was born, and what He did while He was here on Earth with us, including the miracles, his sermons, what He taught the disciples, His death, burial, and also His resurrection. What is important and what most miss is what He taught His disciples. His teachings to them prepared them to start the New Testament church (which we are, if you didn't know) and how to run it. The greatest commandment to them was of course the Great Commission. Now, what some people get confused is this. Everything Jesus told His disciples did not come to pass in the gospels. It wasn't meant to. The Great Commission did not come to pass in the gospels. Most people take Jesus' quote literal.

[Matthew 28:19-20- "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."]

The next book after John (the last of the 4 gospels, remember the timeline) is the book of Acts, also known as "The Acts." Now, I know I'm not silly, but don't you think the name of the book gives it away? The Encyclopedia Britannica even notes that the day of Pentecost in the book of Acts, chapter 2 "marks the beginning of the Christian church's mission to the world." All the things Jesus said concerning salvation (and even earlier prophets) came to pass in this time. This is the time when the Holy Spirit, or the Holy Ghost descended upon the people. Peter preached to the people on this day, and instructed them to "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" Wow. To me, that shot down every other way I had heard. Three steps: Repentence, Baptism, and receiving the Holy Ghost. Plain as day. Even after I was saved, I searched the different ways I had heard to see if I missed anything.

Baptism in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit couldn't be right... Yes, Jesus was quoted as saying that, but Britannica also noted that that formula had not been used anywhere else in the Bible except in that passage. The Sinner's Prayer couldn't be right... I couldn't find that in the Bible either. Plus, Peter preached repentence and baptism for remission of sins, not prayer. I did find confessing Jesus. But in Romans, Paul spoke to Jews. And if you know what Jews believe, they do not believe that Jesus was the Messiah. So to confess him, would be another step for them. Plus, Romans is an epistle- a letter written to the church in Rome. Them being a church makes them saved, right? Right. And the whole accepting Christ into your life, I never understood that. I learned that Christ lives inside you when you receive the Holy Ghost.

I know you may not agree, but this is truth. I didn't even really go into detail. Some may not believe in baptism, but I will post a blog about the Sanctuary and go into detail about that. Some may just be stubborn and not believe this, simply for the fact that this teaching is of Pentecostal/Apostolic fundamentals. But like I said earlier, many people have shaped and molded their beliefs to fit them. This was done thousands of years ago by the Emporer Constantine at the Council of Nicea. You can also research this. Constantine wanted to change the formula for baptism from what the apostles had taught. Won't you do some in depth studying, pray and seek God. If it's God you're hearing from, He won't steer you wrong. I'm going to bed. Goodnight.
